Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then sustained a series of injuries to her knees which caused Allana on the sidelines. Allana returned to playing rugby league after several years. Allana participated in her first female rugby league game in 2015 and was a star in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana added radio to the roster, and makes regular appearances as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. In addition to her work in sport, Allana is also a fully trained educator. Allana Ferguson is the only Australia player to represent Australia in rugby sevens and rugby league, and also touch. Jillaroos' superstar Allana Ferguson was forced to bring an early end to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL four times. Ferguson ruptured her ACL four times before age 15, 17 and twenty. The fourth time she was injured, her professional life was done. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker, has been forced to leave the club early due to a 4th left ACL tear. Ferguson confirmed to The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November. Ferguson has been the player in the women's rugby league over the course of several seasons.
