Her program, Lanka Business Report, covers Sri Lankan business. Padukone was born to badminton star Prakash Padukone. She was brought up in Bangalore and was born in Copenhagen. As a teenager, Padukone competed in badminton championships at national levels. However, she left the sport in order to make a profession as a designer. Padukone has Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her native language. Padukone is located situated in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State in India is where her ancestry comes from. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend, who retired in the 80s. She has a mother who runs a travel agency also comes from the village.
